Playtime is roughly 3 minutes.
This was my student film from Vancouver Film School back in 2000 - it was nominated for a Leo Award, won first place at the Zoie Film Festival, and won more awards.
This is a series of really short cartoons that may be developed into its own website full of interactive games, cartoons, and related merchandise. It is loosely inspired by the "Happy Tree Friends" - Here Baby Woodgie plays the part of Goldilocks.
I made this cartoon after being inspired by Al Gore's documentary "An Inconvenient Truth". It did pretty well on You Tube and was shown on Canadian television. The co-creator and I thought for sure it'd be a Jib-Jab type of success story, . . . maybe the next one.
Here's a minute and a half of finish animation - it begins just as Buddy arrives at the suspects house and cuts as Buddy is administering "justice" on the suspect's wife.
This is a short cartoon of Dana Carvey's stream of conscious and verbal meanderings where Cary Grant and Jimmy Stewart are in a bunker hundreds of feet below Las Vegas with Richard Nixon locked in a bird cage.
This is a series of cartoons that are currently being pitched as promotional content for a brewery's website. This particular cartoon is my favorite becuase (1) it's my first foray into mixing live action and animation and (2) I'm the guy in there punching out the nun.
Here's one more cartoon from the One Liners series - I like this one because the guy in it reminds me of an older friend of mine who used lines just like this.
This cartoon got a decent response on You Tube.
This cartoon was part labor-of-love and part of a pitch. Tony Grillo of Flinch Studio fame and I put this together in our "spare time" over a couple of years. It was pitched to several studios and was green-lit for a 5 minute pilot by Cartoon Network which unfortunately became unravelled when the creative producer left cartoon Network and went to PBS Kids - and so it goes.
